Delete your Zovio account
This page explains how to request deletion of your Zovio account and associated data. Zovio provides educational health information only and is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care.
1 Delete from within the app
If you can access the Zovio app, sign in to the same account and open:
Profile → Delete Account
Confirm the deletion prompt. This is the fastest way to request removal because it verifies that you control the account.
2 Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app, email us from your registered email address where possible:
3 What to include
- Your registered email address, if available.
- Your mobile number linked to Zovio, if available.
- Your full name or profile name, if helpful for identification.
- A short confirmation that you want your Zovio account and associated data deleted.
4 What gets deleted
- Account profile and login-linked app profile data.
- Uploaded/saved reports, document metadata, and extracted lab/report values.
- Risk insights, saved summaries, copilot history, and copilot suggestions linked to the account.
- Medication reminders, manual vitals, passive vitals, HealthKit/Health Connect samples saved in Zovio, and notification preferences.
- Pregnancy tracker data, check-ins, and pregnancy-related saved records linked to the account.
- Family links, managed-profile associations, QR/code requests, and sharing permissions tied to the account.
- Push tokens, app preferences, and operational app data associated with the account.
5 Timeline
Deletion requests are typically processed within 7 business days after identity verification if needed. Some limited records may be retained only where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or backup-retention purposes.
6 Important notes
- Deleting Zovio data does not automatically delete data stored in Apple Health, Google Health Connect, your device, your email, or files you saved outside Zovio.
- If another family member has their own Zovio account, deleting your account does not delete their independent account or reports.
- If you created a managed family profile, deletion behavior depends on whether that profile has been claimed by its owner.
